Do you know who it is ? You should.
If you weren’t at the last meeting you missed a fun one. Gary introduced his guest,
Neal Portnoy, a character/portrait artist extrodinaire. He shared great pictures
of noted sports figures, muscians, theater personalities...and the pictures were great
and amazingly were all done with magic marker. You would have to see them to
believe. And Neal does a fun presentation with colorful stories as well as pictures.
Two lucky guests enjoying the show were Jeff Narod and Larry Young.
Many kudos were offered for some of the stars of the District Conference...specially
for Cheryl Ann Owoc as Master of Ceremonies on Saturday evening. Also Pat and
Skip Doyle for “going beyond: in setting up AND taking down our food place PDG
Dick Manelis did a superb job over-all as usual.
The fire fund has reached $11,200 so far.
The District bike challenge is May 17
Senior Picnic coming up on June 24th
Applefest on September 20...not really that far away
Our condolences to Jean Bianchi whose sister passed away.
A thought for Mother’s Day. A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person who
